The Society wishes to make sure that all its events and meetings are held as safe as possible. To this end:
- The Village Society complies with all Government Rules and Regulations currently in place for its activities held in public.
- For meetings held in public building, it follows all advice and guidance put in place by the organisation that is responsible for the building.
- In addition, it advises all members and non-members who attend its events to wear face masks when entering or leaving the building and any movements whilst not seated.
- Hand sanitisers will be available at the designated entrances to the event, for use by participants.
- A list of attendees will be compiled at all meetings: for safety regulations, in case of need to evacuate and to be available to the necessary authorities in case of any attendees subsequently testing positive for Covid-19.
- All areas in use, will be checked to ensure all means of ventilation that are available are used appropriately to provide adequate ventilation, considering outside weather conditions where necessary.
